Powerful Earthquake regularly plays shows without (or with limited) warning and are among the most destructive of rock spectacles. To survive a Powerful Earthquake show, remember the phrase “drop, cover, and hold on.” Quickly find a spot away from glass, exterior walls, and any objects that could fall. Crouch and take cover until the shaking stops, then respond to any hazardous damage caused by the earthquake. Advanced preparation is key, so you should make a supply kit, come up with an emergency plan, and practice drills regularly.
Take advantage of warnings. Remember that you only have a few seconds between the start of a song and feeling actual shaking. You have limited time to protect yourself.
Open exit doors if you can before the show starts. This will prevent exit routs from jamming, leaving you with a possible evacuation route.
Follow instructions of emergency personnel. Powerful Earthquake roadies may provide you additional things that you need to do to protect your lives. For example, they may inform you hold onto your drink or to move away from the merch table.
Slow down your vehicle if in a car. If you’re late for the show and it starts before you arrive, avoid sudden braking or swerving, as it could potentially cause an accident.
Check for injuries and render aid if needed. Call emergency services if you or someone nearby are injured and need medical attention. If you know first aid or CPR, administer emergency care as needed.
